Before you delete
Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription. If you subscribe to FitGame Pro and don't want to be charged again, cancel the subscription with Apple — see Your subscription.
Deletion is permanent. A deleted account can't be recovered, and neither can its profile, scores, challenges or Rank Points.
Your subscription is not restored afterward. Once the account is deleted, its subscription is not restored automatically in the app — not even on a new account created with the same Apple ID.
How to delete your account
Account deletion is built into the FitGame app and doesn't require an active subscription.
- Open FitGame on your iPhone and sign in.
- Open your account settings and choose the option to delete your account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
What happens when you delete
- Immediately: your account is closed and can no longer be used. FitGame also asks Apple to revoke the app's Sign in with Apple authorization for your Apple ID.
- Then: your account and its data are deleted from FitGame's database. This normally happens right away; if something interrupts it, an automatic process completes the deletion shortly afterward.
If you sign in with the same Apple ID later, you'll start over with a new, empty account.
What is deleted
- Your account: Apple identifier, email and name received from Apple, and preferences.
- Your profile: username, display name, avatar, country/state and goal. Your username becomes available to others.
- Your game sessions, scores and personal bests.
- Your challenges and turns — including challenges you played against other players, which also disappear from their history.
- Your all-time and weekly Rank Points and your leaderboard entries.
- Workout logs and routines.
- Your blocks and hidden players.
- Your notification devices and pending notifications.
- Your subscription status in FitGame.
What is kept
- Reports about players. Reports you sent, or reports others sent about you, are kept as a safety record. Their link to your account is removed, but the reason, details, date and the username at the time of the report remain.
- App Store subscription records. The App Store transaction identifier and status of any subscription purchased with the account are kept, unlinked from your profile, so that the subscription can't be claimed by another FitGame account. They keep an internal reference to the deleted account ID but no name, email, Apple identifier or profile data.
- Records of App Store notifications may keep the internal ID of the deleted account.
- Server logs and report emails already sent are not modified. Operational logs are used only for technical and security purposes and are deleted or rotated automatically in the normal course of operations; they are not kept indefinitely.
These records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for player safety, to prevent a subscription from being claimed by another account, and to meet legal obligations. See the Privacy Policy.
Your subscription
FitGame Pro subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple, so only Apple can cancel, change or refund them. If you have an active subscription and don't want it to renew, cancel it from your Apple account — ideally before deleting your FitGame account.
Cancel your subscription
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Select FitGame and tap Cancel Subscription.
Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Subscriptions after deletion
A subscription is tied to the FitGame account it was purchased with. After that account is deleted:
- The subscription is not restored automatically in the app, and “Restore Purchases” won't move it to a new FitGame account — even one created with the same Apple ID.
- Apple keeps billing it until it's canceled or expires, because deleting your FitGame account doesn't cancel it. Manage or cancel it in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
If you plan to keep using FitGame, don't delete your account — just sign out.
Can't access the app?
If you no longer have access to the app or your device and want your account deleted, email manager@fractallc.com from the email address associated with your Apple ID sign-in (or your Hide My Email relay address), and include your FitGame username if you know it. We may ask for information to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.
