Signing in
How do I sign in to FitGame?
FitGame uses Sign in with Apple. Tap the Sign in with Apple button and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. You don't need a separate password.
Can I hide my email address?
Yes. When signing in for the first time, choose Hide My Email. Apple will share a private relay address with FitGame instead of your real email. Your email is never shown to other players.
Sign in with Apple isn't working.
- Make sure your iPhone is signed in to an Apple ID (Settings > your name).
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- If you deleted your FitGame account, signing in again creates a new, empty account.
- If you've tried many times in a short period, wait about 15 minutes before trying again.
I'm using a different Apple ID and my progress is gone.
Your FitGame account is tied to the Apple ID you signed in with. Sign out and sign in with your original Apple ID to get back to your account.
Subscription and purchases
What is FitGame Pro?
FitGame Pro is the subscription that unlocks FitGame's games, challenges, leaderboards, personal bests and player discovery. It's offered with monthly and annual plans. Prices, and any free trial or introductory offer, are shown by Apple in the app before you confirm a purchase.
I paid, but FitGame still asks me to subscribe.
- Make sure you're signed in to FitGame with the same account you subscribed with.
- Check your connection, then tap Restore Purchases in the app.
- Confirm the subscription is active in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
If it still doesn't work, contact us and include the date of purchase.
How does Restore Purchases work?
Restore Purchases asks Apple for your current subscription status and updates your FitGame access. Use it after reinstalling the app, switching to a new iPhone, or if your access looks wrong.
A subscription belongs to the FitGame account it was first purchased with. If it was bought on a different FitGame account, it can't be restored to this one.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Select FitGame to change plans or cancel.
To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You keep access until the end of the current period.
How do I get a refund?
All payments are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
No. Cancel your subscription with Apple first. See Account Deletion.
Camera
Why does FitGame need the camera?
The camera lets FitGame track your movement and count your reps during a game. Camera access is required to play camera games.
I denied camera access. How do I turn it on?
Open Settings > FitGame and turn on Camera. Then return to the app.
My reps aren't being counted.
- Follow the camera placement instructions for each game, and make sure your whole body is visible in the frame.
- Use a well-lit space and avoid strong light behind you.
- Place your iPhone on a stable surface so it doesn't move.
- Complete the full range of motion — partial reps don't count.
- Keep other people out of the frame.
My run ended early.
If the camera loses track of you for more than about 3 seconds, the official run ends. Stay fully in frame for the whole game.
My score was rejected.
FitGame checks every submitted session against the game's rules and realistic limits. Sessions that fall outside those limits, or that arrive with invalid data, may not count. If you think a valid session was rejected, contact us with the date and time of the game.
Notifications
What notifications does FitGame send?
If you allow them, FitGame notifies you when someone challenges you, when your challenge is accepted, when it's your turn, when you have 20 minutes left to respond, when your time runs out, and when a challenge ends.
I'm not getting notifications.
- Open Settings > FitGame > Notifications and turn on Allow Notifications.
- Check that a Focus mode isn't silencing FitGame.
- Open FitGame once while connected to the internet so your device can register for notifications.
How do I turn notifications off?
Open Settings > FitGame > Notifications and turn off Allow Notifications. Challenges still work, but you'll need to check the app for your turns.
Challenges
How do challenges work?
Challenges are turn-based. Your target is the last score your rival sent in that game and time limit. Beat it and submit your score — then it's your rival's turn to beat yours. The challenge continues until someone fails to beat the target.
How long do I have to respond?
Each turn has a 48-hour window. If your time runs out, you lose the challenge. FitGame sends a reminder when 20 minutes are left, if notifications are on.
How many attempts do I get?
You get up to 5 attempts per turn. If none of them beats the target, the challenge ends and your rival wins.
I beat the target, but the challenge didn't move forward.
A winning score only counts once you submit it. Make sure you sent your score before leaving the turn.
How are Rank Points calculated?
Win an accepted challenge: +1. Lose: −1. Rank Points never go below zero. There's an all-time total and a weekly total that resets every Monday at midnight Central Time. Wins over the same rival stop earning Rank Points after 10 in the same week.
Who are Alex, Brandon and Max?
They're FitGame's practice rivals, with dynamically generated responses at different difficulty levels, so you always have someone to compete against.
Profile and safety
How do I change my username?
You can change your username in your profile once every 30 days. Usernames are 3–20 characters (letters, numbers and single underscores) and must start with a letter. Your region can be changed once every 7 days.
What can other players see about me?
Your username, display name, avatar, country and U.S. state, when you joined, and your scores, challenge results and leaderboard positions. Never your email. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I block or report a player?
Use the block or report option for that player in FitGame. You can report an inappropriate profile, cheating, harassment, spam or something else. Blocking and reporting are available even without an active subscription.
Sync and connection
My score or challenge isn't showing up.
- FitGame needs an internet connection to submit scores and update challenges. Check Wi-Fi or cellular data.
- Close and reopen the app to refresh.
- Make sure you're on the latest version of FitGame from the App Store.
I see a different account or my data looks wrong.
Check that you're signed in with the same Apple ID you normally use. If the problem continues, contact us.
Account
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. See Account Deletion for the steps and what happens to your data.
